Make wrapping easy (and mobile)
The fastest way to keep holiday wrapping fun is to make it portable. One clear bin = move from kitchen island to bedroom floor to the tree without hunting for tape or tags. When my brain starts spinning with all the to-dos, I pause and reset—sometimes more than once a day—because I’m over-excited (and a little anxious!) for the season. This setup channels that energy into an easy win you’ll use all December.
What to Include (pack by zones)
Paper & Bags
- 2–3 neutral wrap rolls (kraft, stripes, one holiday print)
- Assorted gift bags (S/M/L) + matching tissue

- Regular tape + double-sided tape
- Glue stick or glue dots (for bows/ribbon tails)
- Scissors (adult) and Kid-Safe Scissors (duplicate)
- Box cutter (for shipping boxes) — adults only
- Ruler/tape measure; bone folder (optional, for crisp folds)
Ribbons, Tags & Pens

Shipping & Extras

Where to Stash the Bin
- Primary: coat closet floor or laundry room shelf (easy access, out of sight)
- Bedroom: under-bed box for late-night wrapping
- Entry bench: if you wrap gifts for delivery/pickups
- Car trunk (temporary): for on-the-go gifting days—bring it back inside after
Wherever it lives, it should take 10 seconds to grab and go.
How to Use It (fast workflow)
- Pull the bin to your workspace; start a two-song timer.
- Wrap in batches: cut all paper first → tape → ribbons → tags.
- Keep scraps larger than a postcard in a folder for minis; recycle the rest.
- At the bell: toss trash, restock tape if low, pack everything back in the bin.
Kid-Safe Scissors (Duplicate Set)
Little helpers make it merry—but they also love your good scissors. Add a second, kid-safe pair plus their own tape to a labeled pouch. They can cut ribbon, stick tags, and decorate gift bags while you handle the sharp tools and box cutter. Everyone stays productive (and safe). 🎄✂️
Bin Label Set — Cut & Tape
Print, cut, and tape to pouches/boxes so everything finds its way home. (Tip: use clear packing tape as a lamination.)
For baskets, punch two holes in each label and tie with twine. For pouches, tape along all sides for durability.
