For those who have asked why I don’t (or can’t) post on Kingwood.com, here’s the truth: their admin has made it clear I’m not welcome — and never will be.
They believe I “copied” them at one point (I wouldn’t even know how with what they’ve got going on), but apparently my little ole community is still a problem… even with their two-decade head start and 40K followers.
I even created an account, posted a few things, used my real picture (which, apparently, isn’t really a thing there), and yes — I did post a reel that mentioned the brand, but it wasn’t screaming The Livable Forest. I was genuinely engaging with others, and people immediately started engaging back. I thought that was the whole point of a community platform… so I thought.
This isn’t new — it’s been happening for years. I’ve had doors slammed in my face even when I’ve offered to pay for advertising in Kingwood.
And honestly, that’s one of the main reasons I started The Livable Forest. Equal opportunity. I don’t care if another community owner interacts here — Facebook doesn’t care, so why should we?
What I see is jealousy, a scarcity mindset, and bitterness. What I choose is abundance, collaboration, and community growth. That’s the difference. 💚
